Private Hire
The Levels Country Kitchen is a beautifully secluded venue, nestled into the Somerset Levels, creating a unique setting for any event. Whether you are planning a birthday celebration, baby shower, wedding party, wake, hen party, or just a dinner with friends, we have the spaces to make your event special.
We can accommodate private hire bookings Monday - Sunday depending on individual availability. We have several different options of spaces in our venue so we are sure to find something to suit your needs. Read more below and get in touch to find out if we can host your event.
The Cafe
Our cafe comfortably seats 60 people spread across two different rooms, the main cafe and the orangery. Perfect for larger events where people can wander around and mingle. The cafe is flooded with natural light and includes lots of amenities, including a TV screen in each room.
There is a minimum number of 45 adults required to book this space with the maximum capacity being 60 people.
The Orangery
If you are looking for a smaller venue, you can hire just The Orangery on its own, which seats up to 30 people. There are double doors at the end of the room which can serve as their own entrance so your event is totally separate from the main cafe.
There is a minimum number of 15 adults required to book this space.
The BBQ Hut
The BBQ Hut is available for a private hire all year round and includes a lit fire, cushions, blankets (to make it extra cosy on those chilly days) and full waiting service.
Please note the BBQ Hut is located adjacent to the cafe up a small grass footpath, it has no wheelchair access and is therefore unfortunately not suitable for those with restricted mobility. There is no toilet in the hut but you can use the facilities within the cafe when required. The maximum capacity of the BBQ Hut is 17 adults.
The Tepee
The latest addition to The Levels Country Kitchen; The Tepee. It's the perfect setting for a relaxed and intimate event. It has four tables with chairs as well as a sofa and an armchair creating a cosy corner.
This space is available from 2.30pm onwards any day of the week. It can be opened up all the way around in the warmer months or fully enclosed in the winter to keep it cosy.
