We are located in Middlezoy, Somerset - part of the luxurious Windmill Retreat Estate. The Levels Country Kitchen - a small, family run business, opened its doors in May 2018 and since has been a very popular gathering place for the locals, and those from further afar. Situated in the heart of the Somerset Levels. Our cafe has a modern and airy decor, friendly and uplifting atmosphere, which offers
you a great space to relax, meet friends or hold a meeting while enjoying a delicious meal, coffee or cake.
We are very proud to offer a variety of delicious home cooked food, including our beautiful cakes and other sweet treats.
Our aim is to serve fantastic quality food using the best ingredients, which are locally sourced where possible.
This also allows us to support other small local businesses based on the Somerset levels.
One of our biggest passions is coffee. The Levels Country kitchen are dedicated to serve the best coffee possible and make exceptional handcrafted espresso based drinks. We are proud to offer both standard and decaffeinated options, also for take away!
With a setting that is a walkers dream, The Levels Country Kitchen is sat at the base of the Middlezoy circular walks which take you up to the site of the old Windmill. The historic ruins of St Michael’s Church and Burrow Mump a little further afield is the perfect vantage point for photographers.
We are a great stopover for those who enjoy exploring the Somerset Levels with the kids or friends. For those keen to explore a little further afield, the beautiful city of Wells and the iconic Cheddar Gorge are just
a short drive from The Levels Country Kitchen.
